Office Closure Notice
​
It is with heavy hearts that the City of New Johnsonville announces the passing of our former Mayor, James David Cagle.
As a mark of respect for his service to our community, all city offices will be closing on Friday, October 24, 2025 @ 12 to allow employees to attend his funeral.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time. We will resume normal business on Monday, October 27, 2025.

Remember, when burning outdoors, you must obtain a Burn Permit prior too. The Burn Permit is free and is required between October 15 - May 15. Also, you may not burn within one (1) mile of Lakeview School while school is in session. ​​​​
